bucketAV for Cloudflare R2 powered by multiple engines
We are excited to announce that bucketAV now supports scanning Cloudflare R2 with both engines, ClamAV and Sophos, in parallel. Combining ClamAV and Sophos improves the detection rate of viruses, trojans, ransomware, and other kinds of malware.
Follow our setup guide to get started with bucketAV for Cloudflare R2 powered by ClamAV and Sophos.
Upgrade to AWS SDK v3
bucketAV now uses the AWS SDK for JavaScript v3. The modern SDK improves performance and simplifies development. Also, you will no longer receive warning messages from AWS stating that someone is using a deprecated version of the AWS SDK from your AWS accounts.
What’s next?
We are currently working on rolling out bucketAV powered by ClamAV to the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.
Feedback
We would appreciate your feedback to help us improve bucketAV. What feature do you miss? What is particularly important to you when it comes to protecting Amazon S3 and Cloudflare R2 from malware? hello@bucketav.com
